Tholos Tomb of Vaphio and the Amyklaion

The Tholos Tomb of Vaphio had a 97 ft long approach leading to a chamber that was 33 ft in diameter. It was built around 1500 BCE and is assumed to be the burial of an elite due to the gold cups and other items found in the tomb.

The Amyklaion was a sanctuary. That's all I remember about that.

I visited the National Gardens again today and found another spot I hadn't seen before. There were goats and bunnies. I have pictures but will post them tomorrow.
