Bassae - Temple to Apollo Epicurius (Peloponnese)

The weather was cold and windy when we visited the temple at Baasae. The temple was very large, but it was also covered, so I had a difficult time trying to capture the entirety of it. They are currently working on restorations. It was built in the middle of the 5th century BCE. The same architect also did the Parthenon in Athens.
Some of the grounds around the temple.

When we walked up to the temple, we saw this circus looking tent.

Here I am shivering outside the tent in the cold, wind, and rain, but you can see how large this thing really was.
