Chora Museum and Ancient Pylos (Peloponnese)

I'm still working on posting the sites from my trip to the Peloponnese, so I'm doing two sites together today.
The Archaeological Museum of Chora is a museum whose collections focus on the Mycenaean civilization, particularly from the excavations at the Palace of Nestor and other regions of Messenia (Wikipedia).

The Palace of Nestor is the main attraction at Pylos. This was the palace of the second most powerful Mycenaean King and was two stories tall. The site is set up in an interesting way as they built a walk way above the ruins and you look down to see it. They also constructed a covering over it, which was nice as it was a cold and rainy day. There was also a tomb here, but I don't have pictures of it for some reason.
In addition to the throne rooms and private chambers, the palace contained storerooms and workshops.

Megaron(contains the throne).
