Crete: Sanctuary of Zeus Thenatas and Niros with bonus Athens pics

On the second day in Crete our first two stops were the Sanctuary of Zeus Thenatas and Niros. The temple dates to the 7th Century BCE. The temple was by the beach and it was super windy. At the Niros site, we only looked at some remains from a Minoan harbor.

Today, I went out for lunch with some friends to an overpriced, touristy restaurant, but we knew what we were getting ourselves into. We just went for the view. I thought I'd share it with you.

    1. Nothing special. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really good either.
