Stagira

The ancient city of Stagira is known for being the birth place of Aristotle (but it's debatable and probably not the case). It is known to me because it is located right on the Aegean, so it had some beautiful coastal views. Still present here are fortification walls, foundations of classical houses, and the agora.

  1. Have you guys had a chance to meet Stavros Melissinos. He's a famous author and also has a sandal shop near the Syntagma Square famous people come from all over the world to get handmade sandals from him..big story in the NY times about him

  2. I have not gone into his shop, but I have walked past it before. He is a very popular man.
