Folegandros

Folegandros is a larger island than Sikinos, with a little over double the population (~760 people). There are beautiful beaches all around the island, and we've been spending some time there. We hiked into town today for food and to climb up to a monastery to get some high up views. The island does not have near as many tourists as some of the others such as Mykonos and Santorini, and I am really enjoying the laid back atmosphere. Also, I've gotten the cheapest little ice cream bar here.
The port and port town as seen from about 3.5 kilometers away.

Chora, the main town.

A view of the water from Chora.

Chora from afar. The monastery located up on that hill is where we walked to get the high up picture views I referenced in the opening paragraph.

Ano Meria, a town, as seen from the monastery.

Bob as seen from behind a rock.

Angali, the town we are staying in, and the beautiful beach.

The other side of Angali, and the beach.

The patio at our accommodation. The umbrellas look photo shopped.

Some old windmills we saw on our hike.

Fira beach.

Goats.

Baby goat was checking us out.

Fira beach.

View from our dinner on night one. The front left is matsata, which is maybe a specialty of the island. Behind the matsata is some goat and to the side your regular old chicken fillet.
